I had read about people saving all their vegetable scraps in the freezer and making a stock with them and I figured, “Why Not?” So I started tossing stuff into a ziplock back in my freezer door. Of course the kids thought I was a little crazy and my husband…well my husband is use to me by now. Anyway, the girls and I had a big cooking day yesterday which ended up filling up my freezer bag. So I decided it was time to learn how to make vegetable stock using scraps from the freezer, all for free!

Well almost. Caitlin will be 20 in November. And this is what got me to thinking…I have failed my oldest daughter who happens to be in her 30’s, but there is still hope for the other three who are 23 and younger. So I have challenged myself to teach said “20-year-olds” how to prepare all 26 foods! We will learn one food each week and I will post a blog about our experiences. Who knows…maybe we will even post a video! And six months from now, I should have three daughters who can fake their way through any dinner party. Stay tuned to the Climer Chaos Cooking Challenge! BTW…if anyone else is up to the challenge, let me know. We can keep each other accountable. And best of all…you don’t have to be in your 20’s to do it!
